School-Based & Community Events
At Villages of California, events play a large role in the work we do and the impact we create. Whether it is a school-based event providing aid, resources, mental health awareness, or stigma reduction OR it is an event that seeks to cater to the needs of our community, in our community, our goal is to help our clients thrive both physically and mentally. Events are a chance for us to put our community-based approach into motion.
We are currently partnered with Anaheim Elementary School District and have events at their school sites on a weekly basis. If you are an AESD parent or want a more detailed calendar of AESD happenings, use the calendar below!

Annual Events
MasterPeace is a juried art show hosted by @villages_ca and @the.art.spread with hundreds of participants from Anaheim students. This event is an opportunity for kids in our community schools (K-12) to consider what peace means to them. How do they master peace? How do they interpret it or how can they portray it? By encouraging them to draw this interpretation and their answer, we are exposing students and families to the art world, encouraging self-expression, connecting community members, and creating a space for them to come together. We host this free community event as a night to come together to not only celebrate art, but our youth and their bravery, artistic abilities, and willingness to express themselves.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we host an annual resource fair in partnership with @anaheimelementary.
We host 40+ community partners and resources, as well as in-person resource opportunities such as @caloptima for Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment. This fair is a great opportunity to come together as a community to not only reduce the stigma around mental health, but to see all of the resources that are available to take action towards your mental health. We also make sure to have some fun! Raffles, Live Music, Activities, Face-Painting, Games, etc.
