Jeanette Barreto holds a BA in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership from National University. Jeanette’s background in the mental health field spans over 15 years and ranges from providing direct care in youth and adolescent residential treatment programs and outpatient settings to executing outreach, business development and operations for mental health and substance abuse organizations across Southern California. She has worked in collaboration with county and state programs, the Department of Social Services, the Department of Mental Health, Probation and within public and non-public educational settings. Jeanette has participated in the development of new and innovative programs to meet the needs for community based mental health services for youth, adolescents, adults and families. In addition, Jeanette worked in both the public and private sectors expanding existing programs and developing strategic partnerships focused on linking the community with services that treat mental health and help individuals and families heal. Jeanette is passionate about making supportive and collaborative services accessible to those in need during the most challenging times in their lives.

Jeanette looks forward to playing a role in helping not only her own community, but to helping other professionals and organizations serve the mental and public health needs of their youth and families.

Cory Brosch, MS, LMFT
Chief Operating Officer

Cory Brosch, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist joined Villages of California as the Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Cory has over 2 decades of experience in non-profit treatment settings including adolescent residential, substance abuse, mental health outpatient, and prevention based services. For the last 10 years Cory has served in multiple leadership and executive leadership roles in addition to overseeing over a dozen programs and 200 employees.

Cory’s passion has always been in developing programs that provide exceptional clinical services for underserved populations. After obtaining his Master’s in Counseling degree in 2007, he worked as a therapist for Laura’s House, an agency dedicated to the treatment and protection of domestic violence victims. Cory then went to work for Canal Elementary, a school that worked with youth diagnosed with emotional and developmental disorders. Since 2011, he has worked as an LMFT in private practice, specializing in substance use disorders, addiction, and families impacted by addiction.

Cory maintains a passion for being in a role and at an agency that can address the mental health crisis happening within the current education system. His goal as COO is to deliver collaborative services on campus and in the community to meet the needs of educators, students, and student’s families. He also hopes to facilitate support to other organizations, school districts, or health professionals who want to create positive change in the mental health space.

Marina Braff, MS, LMFT
Chief Development Officer

Marina Braff holds a BA in Gender Studies with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology from UCLA, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. She has worked in the mental health field for the past ten years. Throughout the last decade, Marina has provided counseling for children and adolescents in a variety of settings including schools, non-profit organizations, and private practice. Recently, Marina received her Perinatal Mental Health Certification through Postpartum Support International and facilitates weekly postpartum support groups at New Mom School in Newport Beach. Marina continues to grow her practice in order to serve mothers and young adults. In addition to her clinical work, Marina is a sought out public speaker on a local and national level. She has done both in-person and webinar formatted presentations on topics ranging from Teens and Technology to Work-Life Balance and Managing Anxiety During Uncertainty.

In her current role as the Chief Development Officer, Marina seeks to find like-minded organizations and resources that elevate the impact of the work being done at VOC. She plays a strategic role in the expansion of VOC programs, staff, and impact. She is also incredibly invested in the company culture at VOC and spearheads company-wide events, professional development opportunities, and more.

Giovanna Sanguinetti, MA
Senior Director of Programs

Giovanna is passionate about social justice and destigmatizing Mental Health in all communities. Her focus is to empower youth to discover their strength while boosting their protective factors. Giovanna has over 14 years of Behavioral Health experience. She led the career and technical department at an alternative high school working with a diverse student body. Students there experienced poor grades, truancy, addiction, and teen-pregnancy/parenting. During her time there she increased post-secondary transition, created solid community relationships and implemented several health and prevention programs.

Prior to her time at VOC, she managed two very successful school-based behavioral health programs. Significantly increasing social emotional and mental health services to youth and their families around Orange County, CA. She plays a pivotal role in the scope of programming, level of community partnerships, and impact-driven work we are doing here at VOC.

Giovanna holds an Interdisciplinary degree focusing on Health Science and Behavioral Health, a Master’s in Medical Anthropology and started her doctorate in Health Science in January 2022. She is also the chairwoman of Pueblos of California, which is a role that honors her commitment to the reduction of social determinants to health and health equity for all.

Morgan Goulet, LMFT
Senior Clinical Director

Morgan Goulet is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a BS in Psychology from the University of Arizona and an MS in School-Based Family Counseling, with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy, from Cal State LA. She has extensive experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families across various settings, including residential placement, schools, home-based, and community environments. Morgan has held both leadership and direct care roles within non-profit organizations and has also worked as an LMFT in private practice. 

Morgan is passionate about mentoring and guiding emerging therapists in their professional development and has provided clinical supervision to master’s-level clinicians, master's-eligible clinicians, as well as alcohol and drug counselors. She is committed to advancing education and increasing awareness around mental health, holding certifications as both a provider and trainer in a variety of Evidence-Based Practices.

Throughout her career, Morgan has developed and delivered training programs for clinicians and school staff, as well as educated the community on critical topics such as Trauma-Informed Care, Self-harm & Suicidality, Childhood Anxiety, and Grief & Loss. With a strong commitment to early intervention, she advocates for mental health support within school environments and is excited to be part of an organization that directly addresses these critical needs.

Breanna Joyner, ASW
Clinical Trainer

Breanna holds a Master of Social Work with a clinical specialization from Azusa Pacific University. As the Clinical Trainer at VOC, she focuses on the on-boarding process for new staff and assists in designing training opportunities to support ongoing staff development. Breanna is dedicated to creating an environment where staff feel confident, supported, and empowered to excel in their roles. Breanna also offers ongoing support wherever needed, ensuring the team has the tools and guidance to provide exceptional care.

Alan Olmedo, MPA
Community Schools Coordinator

Alan has 7 years of behavioral health experience, which led him to pursue a Masters in Public Administration. As an Orange County native, Alan is passionate about increasing access to mental health services for youth and their family members in the OC community. In his current role as Community Schools Coordinator, Alan helps to oversee the 23 VoC Community Schools Clinicians placed at all Anaheim Elementary School District campuses. His insight and commitment to health access and community success has made him an invaluable resource to VOCs growing community schools programs.

Idcel Zamudio, ASW
Clinical Coordinator

As the Clinical Coordinator, Idcel oversees all of the school based clinicians district wide and is part of the crisis response team for our Tier 3 clients (youth with high acuity). Idcel holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Criminal Justice from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She is dedicated to both her clients and her education; she completed an Entrepreneurship Essential course from Harvard Business school this past summer. She also continues to learn and receive training from the Orange County Department of Education in order ensure school safety and have proper interventions during crisis. Idcel has experienced working with youth and communities for a span of six years, and has always been passionate in providing a safe environment for children and promoting emotional wellness. She aims to provide the highest level of support to her staff, clients, and their families.

Angela Tran, LMFT
ICBT Coordinator

Angela graduated with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Her experience in the mental health field spans from private practice to school based counseling and community-based mental health. She is passionate about helping the communities we serve, as well as providing support to our ICBT team. As the ICBT Coordinator, she supervises staff and supports in navigating possible barriers to our cases. She ensures that our ICBT therapists are collaborating effectively with our school districts in order to provide the best level of care. Angela enjoys working collaboratively with educators and providers to help meet the needs of our youths and families.

Caroline Quintero, MPH
Community Outreach Coordinator

Caroline will be graduating in May 2025 with her Master's of Public Health specializing in Global Health. She is dedicated to health equity and has been instrumental in the coordination of many public health initiatives, as well as mental health initiatives at VOC. As the Community Outreach Coordinator, Caroline leads all of our events in the community and schools to de-stigmatize mental health. She also leads all public health initiatives, including fostering the relationships with partners in our community in order to better serve our youth and families.

Claire Goodman
Marketing Coordinator

Claire has her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Loyola Marymount University and has nearly 10 years of experience in digital marketing. With a wide range of experience in business development and marketing, her passion has always been helping others and telling stories. She has joined our team as the Marketing Coordinator, where she strategically communicates the work we do in our community, with our clients, and amongst our staff. Claire is the face behind our online presence and social media channels, as well as the facilitator of our mission and brand here at VOC. She is excited to be a part of the growth of an organization that is committed to helping their community thrive.
