Programs

At Villages of California we offer a broad spectrum of community-based mental health services that range from prevention to high acuity intervention. We want to meet our clients with level of care that is right for them, as well as provide programming that can support a variety of behavioral health and social emotional learning needs.

Prevention

We know that in order for our clients to do well, we need to ensure that they are thriving in every aspect of life - physically, socially, and mentally. The team at VOC addresses behaviors that impact our clients’ academic success and helps develop healthy family and peer relationships, while addressing mental health and substance abuse challenges. We are actively creating events and opportunities to de-stigmatize mental health and eliminate as many barriers to care & resources as possible.

Intervention

It has been recognized that clients and their families often fall through cracks in a system that lacks resources to address the various struggles that youth and families encounter. We envision a system of care where mental health services are carefully designed and delivered within a school, outpatient, and home setting to create a safety-net for vulnerable families in our community.

School Based Services

Villages of California brings mental health care directly onto school campuses, from preventive coaching and social-emotional support to licensed clinical therapy for students with deeper needs. Our fully managed model means one accountable partner handles staffing, supervision, and outcomes, so districts get consistent, high-quality care without the burden of managing it themselves.

Intensive Community Based Treatment

Intensive Community-Based Treatment (ICBT) providers work collaboratively with family, school and community supports to identify underlying drivers that are impacting a student’s academic and social-emotional success. ICBT staff support in the delivery and consistency of behavioral interventions at home and within the school setting. This service is recommended for students who are at risk of moving to a higher level of care (non-public school or residential treatment), are transitioning from a higher level of care, or need support with meeting academic goals.

Non-Public School

Villages of California Preparatory serves students who are not thriving in the public school setting and would benefit from a more individualized curriculum. Our specialized academic setting is tailored for success by removing barriers. We provide a therapeutic behavioral environment in an innovative, structured educational setting, including private classrooms, private indoor & outdoor gym, and a STEM lab.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Providing support and hope for teens, young adults, and their families, in need of assistance or intervention. Our IOP creates a validating and supportive atmosphere where participants can cultivate healthy behaviors and learn to manage their feelings, emotions, and personal relationships.
