Non-Public School
We have created a therapeutic school environment to support our youth who would thrive best in a non-public school (NPS) setting. VOC Preparatory is behaviorally informed to help students who are facing mental health issues and provide them with specialized curriculum, support, and therapy.

Who does our Non-Public School serve?
Our NPS serves students who are not thriving in the public school setting and would benefit from a more individualized curriculum. These are students who are at a shortfall due to social emotional skills, behavioral and/or mental health issues, specialized needs, and support requirement. They most likely have ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, ODD, and other disorders.
Why offer a therapeutic school setting?
We recognize that some students require not only additional support, but specialized curriculum in a behavioral setting in order to succeed academically. Our students have already tried less restrictive interventions, such as: school counseling or mental health services, behavior intervention plans (BIP), or resource or special day classes (SDC), and need a more therapeutic environment that is conducive to their needs. Every student deserves the opportunity to thrive and we have created a space that empowers them to do so.
What does our Non-Public School provide?
At VOC Preparatory, our students will be provided with a program that offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the unique needs of each student, as well as specialized programs for students who thrive in smaller, more focused settings. Our program emphasizes individualized instruction, small class sizes, and a collaborative approach to learning. They will also receive individual and group therapy, rigorous academic offerings, and be given a personalized behavior intervention plan. Our program and staff ensures that each student receives the attention and resources they need to succeed.
