Andrew Liu, LMFT

Andrew earned his Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and has experience in both school-based and outpatient settings. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, he specializes in working with culturally diverse clients and trauma. Andrew is passionate about bridging the gap in mental health care by reducing stigma and increasing accessibility, especially for underserved communities.

Delaney Von Iderstein, ASW

Delaney obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Azusa Pacific University where she cultivated a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic modalities and mental health interventions. Throughout her two years with VOC, she has found great fulfillment in working with children, adults, and families by facilitating their journey toward emotional resilience and psychological well-being. She feels deeply compelled to work in outpatient services so that she can offer tailored, individualized care, while also providing structured and intensive support through our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for those facing significant mental health challenges. This dual approach enables her to have a profound and multifaceted impact on her clients’ healing and growth.

Ruben Leon, ASW, PPSC

Ruben holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC). Prior to that he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with a Minor in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach. With past experience as a preschool teacher, he developed a strong passion for supporting students in an educational setting -fostering a nurturing and growth-oriented environment for children and families. As a first-generation professional from a low-income background, he is deeply committed to creating a practice that empowers diverse communities. He is committed to offering flexible services to his clients to help them grow.

Anstiss Perez, AMFT, APCC

Anstiss has her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Brandman University with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC). Her extensive experience working with children, families, and diverse mental health needs comes from her background in Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy, inpatient behavioral health, and childcare. She is passionate about providing a supportive, empowering space for growth; being a part of VOC’s IOP team allows her to make a lasting impact on the community by helping clients build resilience and create meaningful, long-term change.

Rose Arghavan, AMFT

Rose Arghavan holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Specializing in working with children, parents, and families, she is committed to helping clients navigate a wide variety of challenges, including emotional and behavioral struggles, communication difficulties, family conflict, and life transitions. Rose tailors her approach to each family’s unique needs by offering personalized support through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art therapy, and play therapy. With a deep understanding of the complexities families face, Rose is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where clients can find clarity, healing, and the strength to overcome their challenges together.

Idcel Zamudio, ASW, PPSC

Idcel holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Criminal Justice from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She is not only one of our outpatient therapists, but also holds the role of Clinical Coordinator here at VOC and is part of the crisis response team for our Tier 3 clients (youth with high acuity). She is highly trained in crisis intervention and has experience working with youth and communities that spans six years. She has always been and continues to be passionate in providing a safe environment for youth and promoting emotional wellness.

Jeannine Schmok, AMFT

Jeannine holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne. With a focus on working with teens and young adults, she is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. Jeannine tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs by utilizing a client-centered and strengths-based framework. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients can build resilience, develop coping skills, and work toward personal growth.
